Having a timetable is essential, planning time effectively is a must.

Third Year Creative Project:
Geared towards focusing on the SUBJECT, YOU want to do.
FOCUSING on ONE specific Skillset.
ONE main output, Doc, Drama, Live ETC
What do you want to do now and the future?

PRE PRODUCTION:
Individual or small group based
Two distinct choices
Largely self-directed
Tutorial and Seminar support
Submission of the project - DEC Tuesday 11th - 10am.

The aim is to create a Pre Production Package - Either one just for the first term or one you take forward to use in your actual MAIN project.

The first option is hypothetical and allows you to think big. The package communicated the potential idea to a broadcast commissioner.
Using a variety of elements - Pitch, Script, Casting, Prod design, Trailer, Cam tests etc. MAKE SURE IT IS FOCUSED ON YOUR SPECIFIC INTEREST.
IF you do this choice, you need to then create a brand new Main production Project, doesn't need to be related.

The second option is one you will take forward and actually create it as your Main project.
You need a very detailed plan, but it needs to be much more detailed than the first option.
Needs a pitch, script, budget, schedule, casting, locations, trailer etc...
This choice generally tends to be collaborative.
You need to work in a small group who will form a production team
Max Time length is 20min (It's a guideline and won't be marked down massively over or under 20)

External Collaboration
ONLY available in these areas
  • CAST/PRESENTERS/ACTORS
  • MUSIC
  • PRODUCTION AND COSTUME DESIGN
  • SPECIAL FX
  • Roles not taught on the course
ALL other roles MUST be filled by your fellow classmates and students or possibly some recent graduates.
